Not one to give it up easy, Hey Predator!, play aggressive pop, melodies jumping frantically while they work their way into your head. As as a six-piece should, Hey Predator!, layer their hooks on top of each other; in one bar you will hear what could easily be three different songs blended, shaken and stirred until ready to simmer and eventually boil over. But before they get too out-there, too music school cool, too pretentious, they pull it back and make sure it's having fun. Wailing, shrieking energy gives way to slinky grooves played with precision; each note sounding deliberate yet spontaneous.
